Bros Before Lows helps reduce male suicide in Canada by making safe, judgment-free spaces where men, young men, and boys can speak openly, create honestly, and find brotherhood.
Our Vision
Bros Before Lows envisions a Canada where no man faces his darkest moments alone. Through a sustainable national network of science-based peer-support spaces rooted in creativity, men and boys can explore vulnerability, resilience, identity, and connection while finding purpose, healing, belonging, and self-expression.
Our Mission
Our mission turns stigma into strength and isolation into connection. Through SMART Recovery Canada and lived experience, trained facilitators create safe, judgment-free spaces where men speak openly, build relationships, gain new coping skills, and explore creativity while helping address Canada’s male suicide crisis.
Our Core Values
Our values combine PHIPA-compliant data handling, ethical data collection, and SMART Recovery’s evidence-based four-pillar approach. Through evaluation, early peer support, arts, music, and conversation, we help men build coping skills, creativity, self-worth, resilience, and connection before challenges become crises.
